Onboarding for brands

Our onboarding guide for new brands

Welcome to Warehut! We’re thrilled to have you on board. This onboarding guide contains everything you need to know to start shipping with us.

🛖
This guide is for brands (also referred to as merchants, stores, or businesses). We have a separate onboarding guide for shippers here.

Our user agreements

Our User Agreements (available on the Warehut app) are the first things you’ll need to read and agree to before you can use Warehut.

Make sure to read them in full. They outline important information about your rights and responsibilities.

Setting up your store

If your store is built on Shopify or WooCommerce, these guides will help you set up your store to be compatible with Warehut.

If your store uses another platform (e.g. Depop), we’ll send you custom instructions during your onboarding.

Sending inventory to your Warehut

While you’re setting up your store, a Warehut team member will match you with one of our carefully selected Warehuts.

Once this is done, we’ll send you your Warehut’s address via email or via the chat in the Warehut app. This is where you’ll need to send your inventory (and any custom packaging, if applicable).

  • How to send inventory to your Warehut: Follow this guide to prepare, label, and notify shipments you send to your Warehut. It’s critically important to follow all steps in this guide to the letter — non-compliant deliveries will cost you more, take longer to receive, and may be rejected by your shipper.

Filing a claim for a lost or damaged package

Sometimes things go wrong. If an order fulfilled by Warehut is lost or damaged in transit, follow the steps in our How to file a claim guide so we can help you file a claim with the carrier.

Please note that decisions about whether to reimburse you for a lost/damaged package are made by the carrier, not Warehut.
