How to set up your Shopify store for Warehut

These quick tweaks allow Warehut to integrate with Shopify

In order for Warehut to generate shipping labels automatically, your Shopify store needs to be correctly set up. Follow these easy instructions for a seamless shipping experience.

If you are only selling domestically (100% of your orders are within the United States), then Warehut needs each product to have a unique SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) code in Shopify. If your products are barcoded, you’ll also need to add the barcode to Shopify.

If you are selling internationally, you need to provide correct customs and shipping information as well. This information allows Warehut to automatically generate complete and correct shipping labels, so your shipper can send your orders off quickly and easily. Incorrect values may result in your international shipments getting stuck in customs, which can cause delays and complaints from your customers.

To provide customs information:

  1. Log in to your Shopify store and navigate to “Products” on the left-hand side menu.
  1. Under “Pricing”, enter a Cost per item for each product you sell.

3. Scroll down to “Shipping” and enter each item’s weight, country/region of origin, and HS code.

4. After you’ve done this for every product, that’s it! Warehut can now automatically generate accurate international shipping labels for you.
